The Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center was founded in 1984, originally as a single bed facility studying patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
In 1985, we were one of the nation’s first free-standing sleep study laboratories to be accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
By 1995, we had expanded to 2 bedrooms, and began to operate a as a full service sleep disorders center, studying all aspects of both sleep and wake disorders.
In 1999, we began construction of our current facility, a 4 bedroom, state of the art, sleep disorders center.
We have maintained accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine since 1985.
The center has four elegantly appointed, sound attenuated, and climate controlled bedrooms.
All beds are top of the line, pillow top mattresses with multi-layer memory foam overlays.
Bedding, linens, pillows and bedspreads are of the highest quality and should make you feel like you are in your own home.
Furnishing, decorations and artwork are warm and inviting and conducive to allowing for a good night’s sleep.
Dr. Ronald A. Popper is Board Certified in Sleep Disorders Medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine – Subspecialty Sleep Medicine. He personally performs all patient consultations and follow-up visits on patients seen at the center.
