The Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center was founded in 1984, originally as a single bed facility studying patients with obstructive sleep apnea. Picture above, the waiting room at the Medical Center's new location.
In 1985, we were one of the nation's first free-standing sleep study laboratories to be accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. This is the Reception Desk at The Southern California Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders Medical Center
By 1995, we had expanded to 2 bedrooms, and began to operate as a full-service sleep disorders center, studying all aspects of both sleep and wake disorders. The new nurses station is pictured here.
In 1999, we began construction of a new facility, a 4 bedroom, state of the art, sleep disorders center. We left that facility in 2020 to better serve our patients in a newly configured medical center, still located in Thousand Oaks, California, at 317 S. Moorpark Road.
We have maintained accreditation by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine since 1985. Pictured here is one of our examination rooms at the new facility.
The center has two elegantly appointed, sound attenuated, and climate controlled bedrooms.
All beds are top of the line, pillow top mattresses with multi-layer memory foam overlays.
Bedding, linens, pillows and bedspreads are of the highest quality and should make you feel like you are in your own home.
Furnishings, decorations and artwork are warm and inviting and conducive to allowing for a good night’s sleep.
